I like big butts (and petite posteriors)

My bum is currently on the front page of Girls Bottom, advertised as "Pandora's chubby British butt" (you have to scroll down a bit, but it's there). I have to say that this is the first time my bottom has ever been called "chubby", although the sentiment seems to be the universal opinion of the SOL empire – the blurb on their latest cover draws attention to "how big [my] bare bottom must seem", and various of their promo galleries call my behind things like "rounded" and "wobblesome". Even though it rarely includes spanking, Girls Bottom is a fantastic celebration of beautiful bottoms both large and small, and they'll happily call a bum on their front page "chubby" with no suggestion that this is anything to be ashamed of.

It's interesting because largeness of bottom isn't something most sites care to emphasise. And in my case, it happens to be true. My arse is in fairly good condition - not as good as it was when I was swimming regularly, but still, it's not too bad. (And if nothing else, beatings improve muscle tone, because no matter how relaxed you try to stay, your buttocks still involuntarily clench with each stroke. See, spanking is good for you!) But there's no denying that my figure is of the "English pear-shape" variety. Put it this way, my waist is 26" and my bottom 40" – over a foot difference between them – and I'm proud of it. Having large hips makes my waist seem narrower in proportion, creates a lovely curve, and makes wearing corsets more impressive. And (I'm told) it provides an irresistible target :)

It's odd, given that so many spankos seem to share my preference for firm, shapely curves, that so few sites capitalise on the fact. Of course there's nothing wrong with being lean and slender, or indeed soft and plump, and I regularly encounter women of both persuasions who are extremely easy on the eye. But for purposes of spanking, I do like to see a gently rounded, nicely toned, supple, bouncy target. And many of the spankers I've spoken to, in real life and online, agree with me.

Yet the models on the successful paysites (English Spankers being the notable exception) seem to tend almost exclusively towards the skinny. But it need not be so – beautiful bottoms come in all shapes and sizes. Bring on the bigger bums, the riper peaches, the more curvaceous cheeks! Here's hoping that my own chubby British butt will start a trend :)
